Bill Couch’s ’34 was built 1950 and 1951 by Joaquin Arnett (head of the famous Bean Bandits racing team) who performed a death defying task of chopping, sectioning, and shortening this 3-window coupe in such a way that has never been done before or since. He created a sort of ¾ size ’34 Ford coupe. It is truly amazing when you are standing next to it. The suspension is completely stock. Everythng eles works in support of the overall theme from the crème body color to the subtle pinstriping.

Andy Granatelli owned the car first, painting it the crème color and installing one of his full-race Gancor flatheads. Bill Couch purchaced the car in late 1953 off a used car lot in Chicago and has owned it ever since.
