Tommy Foster started work on this jewel in 1949 smoothing and straightening an already channeled body, adding a rolled rear pan and a full-size grille shell. The proprtions of this car are damn near perfect. The profile is the definition of a hot rod roadster. Of course the 331-cubic-inch Caddy, baby blue paint, and Crestliner streering wheel all are real cool, but the thing that blew me away is that the front wishbones are not split! They are joined together in the stock configuration even with the Caddy motor in place. What a rod!
